Mission
To provide vulnerable and underserved communities in Mityana, Uganda with the necessary skills and education to sustain a dignified life and achieve their full potential.
What We Do
Mityana Community Partnership partners with two local community based organizations in Mityana, Uganda, "PROJECT THRIVE" and "HOPE FOR THE BEST LUYIIRA" providing services that support vulnerable youth. Together, we provide the necessary skills and education needed for a sustainable life.

Mission
- Providing youth with skills to identify, explore, and utilize their full potential for their social and economic development in a sustainable manner.
Goals
- To equip and empower vulnerable youth with skills for future self-reliance
- Training and skills development in:
- Motorcycle repair and maintenance
- Metalwork and Fabrication
- Building and Construction
- Crop Cultivation
Programs
- Skills center workshop for youths who had previously been living on the streets in Mityana. The skills center provides training in motorcycle maintenance and repair, and fabrication of motorcycle parts.
- Residential program teaching cooperation and collaboration. The sharing of responsibilities and daily chores, and active participation in the management of the residence. In 2022, the program acquired a farm just from the shop where trainees learn important agricultural and life skills.

Mission
- To empower individuals, families, and communities to live a safe, healthy and sustainable life.
Goals
- A Uganda where all children, youth, and families live a dignified safe and healthy life with active participation in their community development.
- Community health focus with an emphasis on adolescents, women, and girls. The engagement of families of adolescent girls in community-based workshops emphasizes the importance of reproductive health and menstruation hygiene throughout one’s life to ensure a long and healthy life.
